Hi, I’m Jennifer.
My work has taken a few forms: magazines, books, podcasts, and a lot of writing and thinking out loud about what it means to make a life. My latest project, EXTENDED SCENES, is a newsletter and companion podcast about life, ambition, and success after 40.
Here’s what I do:
I.
Editing & Idea Shaping
I help writers with everything from conceptualizing newsletters to fine-tuning podcast ideas, building outlines, crafting pitches that land, and moving through areas where they feel stuck. I also take on a select few development and manuscript editing projects each year.
II.
Writing & Ghostwriting
I’ve written and ghostwritten full-length books, book proposals, and newsletters of many non-fiction stripes, especially first-person essays, memoir, and how-to guides. I specialize in voicey, succinct, deeply human writing in the areas of relationships, wellness, relationships, and business advice.
III.
Editorial Strategy & Leadership
I love collaborating on larger-scale creative and editorial projects, either as a refresh or from the ground up.
